Macmillan Coffee Morning

A Paws-itively Successful Macmillan Coffee Morning!

This week, our team swapped stethoscopes for spatulas as we hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning – and what a fantastic day it turned out to be! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our clients, friends, and staff, we’re thrilled to share that together, we raised £678.06 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We couldn’t have done it without the amazing efforts of everyone who baked cakes, donated raffle prizes, and of course, those who bought tickets and enjoyed a slice (or two!) of cake. Your kindness and community spirit truly made the event a special occasion.

This coffee morning has become something of a tradition here at the practice, and each year we’re reminded of just how wonderful our community is. Not only do we get to raise money for a cause close to so many hearts, but we also get the chance to share a cuppa, a laugh, and a slice of Victoria sponge with you all.

And speaking of laughs, a special mention must go to Julie, who went above and beyond in the name of fundraising spirit by dressing up as a giant cupcake to serve tea and cake. We’re still not sure how she managed to carry the tea without toppling over, but she certainly brought smiles (and plenty of photo opportunities) to the morning!

From all of us here at Spire Vets, thank you again for your generosity and support. We’re already looking forward to next year’s coffee morning – though we’re not sure how Julie will top that costume… maybe a sausage roll?
